On July 18, 17 students from the Sino-Swiss Summer University, a joint program between HEIG-VAUD and Shanghai University visited swissnex China. Initially introduced by swissnex China, the fruitful collaboration between the two universities have been ongoing for a number of years.
Ms. Rahel Gruber, Operations Manager of swissnex China, warmly welcomed the students and introduced swissnex’s mission in China.
This was followed by a presentation from Mr. Quentin Gigon, Junior Project Leader Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Quentin presented the innovation landscape in China. The students were very interested in this topic and posed numerous questions in the Q&A session after the presentation.
The 4-week Sino-Swiss Summer University program is jointly organized by HEIG-VAUD and Shanghai University. Students enrolled in the program spend 2 weeks in Switzerland and another two weeks in China. This is an excellent opportunity to experience different cultures and exchange ideas. We wish them a delightful summer time in China!
