On August 12 and 13, 2013, a group of 24 students from all over Europe – all part of the MSE program (Master of Science in Engineering) of SUPSI, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland – visited the Swiss Embassy as part of their immersion program into China. The delegation was led by Prof. Claudio Boër, Senior Advisor of swissnexChina, Prof.Ivan DeFilippis, SUPSI MSE Representative and J.J.Keller, ZHAW.
The engineers visited a company in Beijing, took lectures on the premises of the Embassy, and enjoyed a small cocktail reception at the swimming pool. Deputy Head of Mission Salome Meyer addressed them and gave them an introduction of Switzerland’s role in China.
