The first week equipped the participants with the law and the economics of international intellectual property protection. The second course week was then dedicated to current and future hot topics such as protecting copyrights in a digital environment, the linkage between IP and foreign investment, and counterfeiting in Asia.

A next edition of the WTI/CUHK Summer Programme on Intellectual Property is planned to take place in July 2014. More information can be found on: http://www.wti.org/courses/wticuhk-summer-programme-on-ip/
