On Sep 17, 22 students from St. Gallen SKU Advanced Management program visited swissnex China.

Ms. Rahel Gruber, Operations Manager and Mr. Danli Zhou, Communications Manager from swissnex China warmly welcomed the delegation, introduced the mission of swissnex in China, as well as activities in the past decade in connecting the dots between Switzerland and China in the fields of education, research and innovation.

Mr. Erwin Lüthi, Deputy Consul General of Switzerland in Shanghai, gave his presentation in German concerning about Sino-Swiss relations and Swiss presence in the Yangtze River Delta to the students. The insightful briefing was followed by a dynamic Q & A session.

SKU was founded in 1953 as the association ”Schweizer Kurse für Unternehmensführung ” (Swiss Programs in Management) by the heads of three Swiss institutes of high academic repute: the Institute of Management of University of St. Gallen HSG, the Swiss Foundation for Applied Psychology SSAP, and the Center for Enterprise Science of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich ETH. SKU Advanced Management program is built for profit center managers at medium-sized companies and heads of smaller companies who are looking to expand their management competencies.

Their trip in China continues after the visit to swissnex China and we wish them a pleasant time!
