What an adventure! The last 6 months as Junior Project Manager at swissnex China went by like a flash. I am very pleased to have been part of a highly dynamic and innovative team that connects Switzerland and China in the fields of education, research and innovation. I was mainly responsible for the area of academic relations. swissnex China officially represents all Swiss higher education institutions in China. It was a privilege to be involved in building and deepening numerous partnerships.

In addition to building expertise, I take home many beautiful and exciting memories with our partners/team members. One of the highlights was the “Einstein Day” at Fudan University, where I was given the opportunity to introduce the Swiss higher education system. In addition, the many in-house events were particularly rewarding, such as the newly created Science Diplomacy event series. It not only offered a lot of content, but also proved to be an opportunity to make new acquaintances. In general, the business environment was extremely enriching and dynamic, with English, Chinese, French and German as the working languages.

The experiences I have acquired at swissnex China will continue to serve me in the future. As an alumnus, I look forward to being able to further promote the great advantages of swissnex China.
