Today ended the Summer Academy of the World Trade Institute, University of Bern, and Law Faculty of the Chinese University of HongKong after 2 weeks of intensive lectures and workshops on the law and economics of intellectual property protection. swissnex China supported several Swiss students to participate in the program. The students were very happy with the outcome of the two weeks:

“We got in touch with many different students and professors from all over the world that are working with IP. This is was very important and useful since, some of us are working on their PhD in this field. Further the lectures pointed out different issues that were new to us and hence very beneficial. Also I think that the different views on the topics discussed helped me to understand and take a different perspective on these issues.”

After the lectures the students found the time to discover the nice beaches in HongKong.
