Our CEO Pascal was presenting the Swiss higher education system to Chinese students

The Fourth International Education Forum at Shanghai University started at 9am on June 14. Different speakers from various countries and diverse faculties talked about how to improve the students’ innovation mindset through education, practical ability and to cultivate all-round talent development. swissnex participated as the representation of Switzerland. We did introductions about the practice-oriented higher education from Swiss universities of applied sciences, how it drives the innovation in Switzerland together with other comprehensive universities as well as the Swiss culture.

All the people who attended the event had a group picture together, find us if you can ;-)

We had a great lunch in the canteen of Shanghai University after we attended a lesson on behavior differences of people from different cultures and countries. We presented Switzerland to the Chinese students by showing them the different languages spoken in Switzerland. "For each different languages area, there is a different behavior", they were very impressed that such a small country as Switzerland has so many different languages and behaviors! One thing surprised and impressed me a lot was that every student’s presentation was followed by a round of applause - of course we received huge ones!
