The red and yellow flag of Geneva was proudly flying at the Embassy of Switzerland in Beijing on June 30th. Ambassador de Dardel received an academic delegation from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva (IHEID) and IHEID Alumni in China. Among the guests were the Institute's Director, M. Philippe Burrin, and many professors and policymakers in the field of international economics, both from IHEID and other research institutes. During the visit to China, the IHEID extended its cooperation with Chinese partners and held a scientific conference on financial market reform and regulation, together with the Central University of Finance and Economics, with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and others.
