On November 2nd and November 3rd, the Swiss Embassy was present at the China International Education Expo (CIEE) in Beijing. The Embassy had invited all Swiss public universities to participate in the event and was joined at its booth by a representative from the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne (EHL). Other institutions, namely the University of St. Gallen, International Management Institute Switzerland IMI, Glion Institute of Higher Education Switzerland and Les Roches International School of Hotel Management were present with their own booth.

The fair was well visited by students and parents who were looking for more information about studying possibilities abroad, by school representatives looking for cooperation opportunities as well as by journalists.

The Swiss Embassy stand has attracted many visitors. Most of them were looking for study possibilities in general, but about 50-70 of them were particularly interested in postgraduate studies in Switzerland. The Embassy’s staff at the expo was very busy answering questions and the brochures went away quickly.
